AIFs

Innovative investment ideas offering tax efficiency similar to mutual funds, for clients seeking differentiated strategies

AIFs are specialized investment vehicles that go beyond traditional assets like stocks and bonds. They offer access to unique opportunities such as private equity, venture capital, real estate, hedge funds, and structured credit.

These funds are managed by expert teams with deep market insight and are designed to capture high-growth or niche investment themes. AIFs are regulated by SEBI and typically suited for investors with a higher risk tolerance and a longer investment horizon. They give access to exclusive, non-traditional investment strategies.

There are three categories of AIFs:

  • Category I – Invests in startups, SMEs, infrastructure

  • Category II – Private equity, debt funds, real estate

  • Category III – Hedge funds, Long only and Long-short strategies
